About Me
I’m a digital transformation programme director with more than 20 years’ experience delivering complex change across public and private sector organisations.
Most of my work sits where digital strategy meets practical delivery. I’m often brought into programmes where there is a significant service, technology or organisational challenge to solve, from recovering programmes that have lost momentum to establishing new transformation programmes and replacing ageing technology.
A large part of my recent work has been in local government, leading programmes spanning website replacement, CRM and case management, service redesign, data and integration, automation and the practical application of AI.
My approach is deliberately pragmatic. Rather than treating transformation as a large technology implementation, I prefer to establish a clear direction, break complex problems into manageable pieces, and use discovery, prototyping and incremental delivery to learn what works before committing too heavily.
I’m particularly interested in how emerging technologies such as AI can improve real services, not as isolated experiments, but as part of wider transformation. Recent work has included voice agents, email triage, automated content improvement and AI-assisted analysis.
The programme case studies on this site show how I’ve applied this approach in practice.
